The Sustainable and Healthy Buildings: Designing for Life – Bootcamp Series Phase 3, organized by the ASHRAE Philippines Chapter, was successfully conducted on April 18, 2026, at the Philippine Columbian Association, Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila. The event ran from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN and gathered mechanical engineers, students, and industry professionals interested in sustainable building systems.


The session featured Engr. Rodel Panghulan as the resource speaker, who shared his expertise on optimizing air distribution and ductwork design. The first topic, Air Distribution Principles and Ventilation Strategies, highlighted the importance of proper airflow management in maintaining indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. Participants gained insights into effective ventilation techniques applicable to modern building systems.


The second topic, Ductwork Design and Leakage Control, focused on practical approaches to designing efficient duct systems while minimizing air leakage. Engr.
